CNA/EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT TECHNICIAN
One full-time or two part-time positions (40 hours per week). Works Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 11:00 am to 11:30 pm and works Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Works every third weekend and rotates holidays. Performs patient care duties under the direction of emergency department nurse. Other responsibilities may include the following: secretarial, preparing patient records, answering phones, making copies, emergency department cleaning, monitoring outdates, performing EKGs, and ordering and maintaining supplies. Computer skills required. Excellent customer service skills required.
CPR INSTRUCTORS
Two on-call positions. Assists the CPR Coordinator by teaching one employee and one public CPR class per month. Other duties as assigned. Must have current American Heart Association course completion card for the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Instructor course.
PERIOPERATIVE REGISTERED NURSE
Perioperative Department
32-40 hours per week. Works 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Call rotation required. Works in various areas of the perioperative department and endoscopy. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care and patient/family teaching. ACLS required--will train. Must be RN licensed in the State of Iowa.
PATIENT ACCESS SUPERVISOR
Rural Health Clinics
Full-time position. Works Monday through Friday. Directs and coordinates the admissions, registration, and medical records activities of the Rural Health Clinics.
REGISTERED NURSE
Department of Community Health
Full-time position. Works Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Rotates weekends and holidays. Call is required. Provides skilled nursing/case management for home health and hospice clients. Strong nursing assessment and patient teaching skills needed. Required ability to make clinical nursing decisions independently. Must be RN licensed in the State of Iowa. Valid drivers license and auto liability insurance required. BLS certification required.
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
Outpatient Department
Part-time position (28-32 hours per week). Shifts vary according to doctor's schedules. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care. Assists in providing patient/family teaching. Works ENT, Neuro, OB/GYN, Ortho, Pulmonary, and Allergy clinics. Must be licensed in the State of Iowa.
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST
Laboratory
Full-time position. Qualified applicant will join the full-service, 24-hour Laboratory Department and 10 other Medical Technologists. $1,000 sign-on bonus. NO CALL. Must be a graduate of an accredited medical technology school and be registered by the HSCP, NCA, HHS, or equivalent as a MT or MLT.
HOME CARE AIDES
Department of Community Health
One part-time position (24 hours per week) and one on-call position. Works various days Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Provides personal care and light housekeeping in clients' homes. BLS required. Valid Iowa driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance required. CNA certification required. Excellent customer service skills required.

Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Provides direction and supervision for Myrtue Medical Center Home Health Agency. Home visits required. Strong human relation skills required. Occasional on-call for weekends and evening hours required. RN licensing required, BSN preferred. Valid Iowa Driver's license and auto liability insurance required. Basic Life Support certification required.
